Sit back and enjoy panoramic views as the train glides through the heart of the Swiss Alps, passing deep valleys, wooden chalets, Alpine meadows and forested slopes. The journey continues through spectacular mountain landscapes before arriving in the historic town of Chur, Switzerland’s oldest city. Following breakfast, prepare for another remarkable rail adventure aboard the Bernina Express. Travelling through dramatic mountain scenery towards Tirano via St. Moritz, the route is filled with extraordinary engineering feats and unforgettable views. Watch glaciers sparkle in the distance, cross soaring viaducts and pass through narrow gorges as the train climbs through the Alps. One highlight is the spectacular Landwasser Viaduct near Filisur, where the train curves gracefully across the stone bridge.
