DAY 01 - 02: BOSTON, USA

If America doesn't 'do' history, then they should perhaps let Boston know. Boston, a popular USA multi-centre stop off, is the cultural hub on the east coast in Massachusetts and drenched with History. A particular tea party helped shape the present day United States of America. Grand claims have been made of Massachusetts’ capital of Boston throughout its history.

They are reflected in many of Boston’s nicknames: ‘Cradle of Modern America,’ ‘Hub of the Solar System’ and ‘Athens of America.’ However, in the beginning, when the settlement in Boston took root in 1624, it was simply called ‘Tri-mountain’, given its location beside three hills on the mouth of the Charles River. This was before Boston was named after the small English town in Lincolnshire, the original home of several founding Puritan families.

A big university town, Boston can be refreshingly highbrow, but it's also unpretentious. Its proud Irish and Italian communities are as huge a part of the city's make-up as its sports fanaticism or its artistic leanings. A short trip to Boston is truly an unforgettable experience, as Boston has so much to offer. Whatever you decide to do, we can help. Call us on our freephone number for more ideas on what to see and do and to book your single, twin or multi-centre holiday to Boston.

DAY 02 - 03: KENNEBUNKPORT, USA

Kennebunkport is truly a year-round vacation destination, with visitors enjoying lots of fun in every season. There is so much to do and see that visitors often come back throughout the year to enjoy every aspect that Kennebunkport has to offer. From gorgeous beaches and scenic lighthouses to boat tours and unique shopping boutiques, and the best restaurants in Southern Maine, there is something for everyone!

DAY 03 - 04: ROCKLAND, USA

Although smaller than sister town Camden, the town of Rockport has become one of the hidden gems of the mid-coast Maine region. It was even named one of America's Prettiest Towns by Forbes Magazine. The laid-back town atmosphere makes it perfect for visitors looking to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful weekend in a beautifully scenic setting. Rockport's location is also ideal, as it marks the halfway spot between Kennebunkport and Bar Harbor.

DAY 04 - 06: BAR HARBOR, USA

Visitors from around the world come to Bar Harbor, the gateway to Acadia National Park, for its amazing scenery. They return again and again to enjoy the abundance of experiences that can be found here.

DAY 06 - 07: ST ANDREWS, CANADA

Everything about this town is special, including it's status as a National Historic District, one of the oldest and loveliest in the Maritimes. St. Andrews is a treasure trove of beautiful architecture, unparalleled scenery and rich marine life. Today it offer all the features of a thriving modern resort, yet the streets remain steeped in turn-of-the-century charm.

DAY 07 - 08: BANGOR, USA

Nearly as big as the rest of the New England states put together, Maine is known for its long coastline, rocky islands and majestic mountains. A holiday to Maine offers amazing hiking and biking, and in winter, skiing and boarding. Year-round, there is great shopping, the freshest seafood, and fine museums.

DAY 08 - 09: PORTSMOUTH, USA

Tiny Portsmouth, New Hampshire may only have 20,000 residents, but it’s got outsized appeal for visitors. Located at the mouth of the Piscataqua River, this thriving, historical port town affords ample opportunities for both water-oriented and land-based activities. Dive into Portsmouth’s nautical and colonial past at one of the many museums, monuments and mansions that line the charming streets, then pop into a gallery, bookstore, antique shop or ethnic restaurant. When the weather’s warm, head out on the water for a charter boat tour or ferry trip or get to know the beaches, lighthouses and marine life along the coast.

DAY 09 - 10: CAPE COD, USA

Cape Cod is rich with recreation, from the artistic to the adventurous. Cape Cod has been named as one of the top ten spots in the world for whale watching, paddle boarding, kayaking and windsurfing, and the region is also ranked among the ten most popular destinations in the U.S. for beaches and golf. We have world-class bike trails, and some of the best shopping around. The Cape and Islands also have been named one of the top 25 arts destinations in the country for our wealth of galleries, art studios, and museums. Come explore!
