Embark on an unforgettable adventure with a 3-day Elephant Hills experience in Thailand, where nature and luxury converge to create a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
Day 1: Welcome to Elephant Hills Camp
Begin your adventure with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Khao Lak and transfer to Khao Sok. En route, you'll catch glimpses of the vibrant rural life in southern Thailand. Upon arrival at Elephant Hills Camp, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of mild Thai dishes at 12:00pm.
After lunch, unwind on a serene jungle river canoe trip down the Sok River. The stable canoes, guided by a local river guide, drift past stunning limestone mountains and exotic tropical vegetation. Keep an eye out for hornbill birds soaring overhead or reptiles basking on the riverbanks.
The Amazing Elephant Experience
Step out of the canoe and head to the elephant park. Here, you’ll learn about Thai elephants and the Elephant Hills conservation project. Your guide will introduce you to the mahouts, the elephant caretakers. Participate in our hands-on Elephant Experience, where you’ll prepare and feed the elephants, learning about their diets and daily care. This is a rare opportunity to connect with these magnificent creatures.
Day 2: Spectacular Cheow-Lan Lake
Wake up to the sounds of nature and the calls of gibbons echoing through the valley. Enjoy tea or coffee in your tent before a leisurely breakfast. Today, explore Cheow-Lan Lake by long-tail boat, marvel at the limestone mountains and rainforest-covered cliffs. Few people know of this hidden gem, which stretches over 60 km and includes over a hundred islands. Swim in the emerald waters and relax at the local raft house before returning to Elephant Hills for dinner and an evening of entertainment.
Day 3: A Little Jungle Adventure
Start your day with a wholesome breakfast before embarking on a guided jungle trek. This isn’t a survival exercise but an exploration of one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Discover exotic plants, towering hardwood trees, and diverse wildlife. Walk slowly, look, learn, and listen to the secrets of the rainforest.
