Reykjavik is much more than just a destination, it is a place of exciting possibilities surrounded by incredible landscapes, with countless adventures and natural wonders.

Why not take a ‘Golden Circle’ tour, immerse yourself in the culture or visit ‘Thrihnukagigur’ volcano, and walk inside a magma chamber! You can also jump on board a local, whale-watching excursion just off the shores.

Alternatively, experience the Northern Lights (October - March); gaze up at the stunning natural lights of the ‘Aurora Borealis’.  Each time the lights emerge, they dance differently, so you can enjoy the wonder and beauty of the sky as the ‘aurora’ descends from the stars above.

With its breath taking location, surrounded by sandy beaches and spectacular mountains, Vancouver combines the best of outdoor life with a vibrant and cosmopolitan city. A starting point perhaps for one of our many, fantastic multi-destination trips, you’ll be surprised at just how much one city can offer.

Hike in the temperate rainforest close to Vancouver or take a spectacular floatplane ride to Victoria, spotting basking whales from the air. Further afield, marvel at the fjords and majestic mountain ranges. Remember to carry your camera with you at all times, to capture those amazing natural canvasses that present themselves so readily in and around this beautiful city.

With so much water and wide open spaces to explore, climb aboard a yacht for a spot of sailing around the harbour or paddle a kayak along the seashore. Alternatively, hire a bike and cycle along the seawall at Stanley Park, enjoying the great outdoors at your own pace, just like the locals do. If you want to get up close and personal to a different type of inhabitant, take a trip to the Grouse Mountain’s Refuge for Endangered Wildlife to see the resident Grizzly Bears – Grinder and Coola!
