The price of the tour includes a Hornblower Niagara Cruise, a winery stop and tasting and picture stops along he way as well convenient pick-up and drop-off at a major downtown Toronto hotel.

Itinerary

DAY 01: TORONTO, CANADA

Fly direct from UK to Toronto with British Airways. Once you arrive, make your own way to your Toronto hotel, the remainder of the day is free to explore this great city at your leisure.


DAY 02: TORONTO, CANADA

Today you can enjoy a full day exploring one of the best cities in Canada.  A visit to the CN Tower is a must as well as visiting the many markets and shops. Toronto has a great underground city with many shops and restaurants and the markets a fabulous too. Visit the Castle or take a hop-on hop-off bus tour to get your bearings and stop at different places of interest.


DAY 03: TORONTO / NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA

Today you’ll be off on your FREE day trip to Niagara Falls, one of the most beautiful spectacles anywhere in the world. Experience one of the world’s most magnificent natural wonders on your full day adventure to Niagara Falls. You will be taken through the picturesque countryside of the Niagara region with a scenic drive through the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake where you will visit one of the local wineries and can sample selections of some of Ontario’s finest wines. The tour will continue along the Niagara Parkway to the Falls with photo opportunities at the famed Floral Clock. You will also take an exhilarating boat ride to the base of the majestic Horseshoe Falls on the Maid of the Mist (May – October), or Journey Behind the Falls (November – April), where you will experience the power of the thundering waters. You will have free time around the Falls for sightseeing, with the chance to take photos or shop for souvenirs at the Table Rock Complex prior to departure. From there you will travel to Niagara-on- the-Lake for photo opportunities at the observation deck of the mighty Whirlpool Rapids. You will have time to explore and soak up some history and heritage of one of Canada’s famous landmarks. After your stroll through these charming streets, you will rejoin the coach for our return trip to Toronto.


DAY 04: TORONTO - OTTAWA, CANADA

Today travel on Canada’s VIA Rail from Toronto to Ottawa. On arrival in Ottawa make your way to your hotel where the rest of the day is free to explore.


DAY 05: OTTAWA, CANADA

Your full day at leisure in Ottawa allows you to explore the sights and take in the culture. A great way to get around and see the sights is by taking hop-on hop-off city tour.


DAY 06: OTTAWA - QUEBEC CITY, CANADA

Today travel on Canada’s VIA Rail from Ottawa to Montreal. On arrival make your own way to your Montreal hotel where the rest of the day is free at leisure. We suggest taking a walking tour of Quebec in the afternoon.


DAY 07: QUEBEC CITY, CANADA

Today is for you to spend exploring wonderful Quebec. We would suggest booking a city tour to get the most out of you time here and experience the true European charm of the first French settlement in North America. We strongly recommend whale watching.


DAY 08: QUEBEC CITY - MONTREAL, CANADA

Today travel on Canada’s VIA Rail from Quebec City  to Montreal. On arrival make your own way to your Montreal hotel where the rest of the day is free at leisure.


DAY 09: MONTREAL, CANADA

You have a full day to explore Montreal at your leisure. Visit the Olympic Park or the many museums in this fabulous city. You could even take a trip to the Laurentain Mountains. Montreal is renowned for its food culture and if you haven’t experienced any of the local delicacies then today’s the day to do it. Why not treat yourself to some tir sur la neige, which is Maple Toffee on Snow to you and I. The Locals of Montreal also say that their Bagels are better than the ones in New York, or why not try the signature dish called Poutine, which is fries with cheese curds and gravy!


DAY 10: MONTREAL - HALIFAX NS, CANADA

This morning make your way to the train station to catch the Via Rail train overnight from Montreal to Halifax.


DAY 11: HALIFAX NS, CANADA

When you arrive in Halifax pick up your car from the station and drive to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.


DAY 12 - 13: HALIFAX NS, CANADA

The heart of Halifax is perfect for exploring on foot, with beautiful tree-lined streets, international restaurants, galleries and award-winning attractions. A city tour is the perfect way to discover all the city has to offer, you can pre-book this with us!


DAY 14: HALIFAX NS - CHARLOTTETOWN, CANADA

Travelling along the scenic Nova Scotia countryside you can spot little farms, shimmering expanses of blue water and rocky headlands before arriving at the charming harbour of Pictou. Cross the Northumberland Strait to mystical Prince Edward Island and picturesque Charlottetown. Visit the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company and learn the secrets of making delicious fruit preserves.


DAY 15: CHARLOTTETOWN, CANADA

Why not pre-book a tour and attend an insider tour of Prince Edward Island with a guide. Begin your exploration at Prince Edward Island National Park with its red sandstone cliffs and rolling sand dunes. Visit Province House, Prince Edward Island's provincial legislature meeting place since 1847 and a National Historic Site. Later, pay a visit to the gabled house that provided inspiration for the beloved children's classic, Anne of Green Gables.


DAY 16: CHARLOTTETOWN - MONCTON, CANADA

 Cross back over the Northumberland Strait, this time via the Confederation Bridge, an eight-mile-long engineering wonder. Once back in New Brunswick, why not set out onto the waters to learn about the art of lobstering before pre-booking a Lunch aboard the boat. You can also visit a local winery for a Local Speciality tasting of their famed fruit wines before ending your journey in Moncton, originally settled in 1766 by Pennsylvania Dutch immigrants. You will spend 1 night here.


DAY 17: MONCTON - HALIFAX - UK

After 1 night in Moncton drive the 3 hour drive back to Halifax ready for your overnight flight home. Drop your car off at the airport and check in for your flight home.
