Your next destination is Stellenbosch. The second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch is known for its natural beauty and oak-lined avenues, Cape Dutch architecture, history and culture – and of course its wine routes.

And finally Mabula Game Reserve. Revel in the sheer variety of animal, bird and plant life; the diverse landscapes ranging from grassland plains to rocky outcrops creating an ideal habitat for the free roaming Big Five and all the little creatures that contribute to a magical wildlife experience you’ll never forget.

Itinerary

Day 01 - 04: Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town, which is the lively capital of the Western Cape, with its famous mountain right in its heart and glorious beaches all around is one of the world’s most beautiful and exciting cities. Cape Town is also, in terms of visitor numbers, South Africa’s main tourist destination. This great city in South Africa has a relaxed atmosphere and offers visitors a host of outdoor activities and all the world-class amenities you would want from a holiday in Cape Town.

The V & A Waterfront is situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain and set against a backdrop of sea and mountain views. This leisure complex works alongside a working harbour and has a wide range of shopping, flea markets, a variety of entertainment including Two Oceans Aquarium and with many places to eat and drink, it is not surprising that it is one of South Africa’s most visited destinations.


Day 04 - 06: Stellenbosch, South Africa

The second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch is known for its natural beauty and oak-lined avenues, Cape Dutch architecture, history and culture – and of course its wine routes.

The Stellenbosch Wine Routes – the largest and oldest in the country – encompass more than 200 wine and grape producers in the region, which are divided into five sub-routes: Greater Simonsberg, Bottelary Hills, Stellenbosch Valley, Stellenbosch Berg and Helderberg, each with unique wines, climates and charm.


Day 06 - 08: Mabula Game Reserve, South Africa

An Extraordinary encounter with South Africa’s bushveld awaits you at Mabula Game Lodge, located just two-and-a-half hours’ drive from Johannesburg in the Malaria Free Waterberg region of the Limpopo Province.

Revel in the sheer variety of animal, bird and plant life; the diverse landscapes ranging from grassland plains to rocky outcrops creating an ideal habitat for the free roaming Big Five and all the little creatures that contribute to a magical wildlife experience you’ll never forget.

The varied habitats on Mabula Private Game Reserve provide ideal conditions for an astounding selection of large mammals including the Big Five, other predators such as Hyena and Jackal, and a variety of antelope from Red Hartebeest to Eland, Gemsbok to Blesbok. That’s not to mention the elusive cheetah, cheeky honey badger and the omnipresent crèches of warthogs that flit across one’s path during your safari at Mabula Game Lodge.
