You are sure to find adventure with a holiday to Namibia! From the world’s driest desert to vibrant cities, spectacular wildlife and the deepest canyon in Africa, Namibia is packed with fun, adventure and relaxation.
If you are interested in wildlife then you can’t get much better than Namibia. From big game to small, colorful birds and rare fauna, you won’t be disappointed with the sights of this great country.
Namibia is like four different countries rolled in to one. The long coastal desert that runs the length of the country, the Namib, is dotted with migrating dune belts, dry riverbeds and canyons. The central plateau is where the majority of Namibia’s towns and villages are found and are separated by the rugged mountain ranges and sand-filled valleys. Then you have the Kalahari Desert with its ancient red sand and sparse vegetation. Then finally you have Kavango and Caprivi, with generous amounts of rain, typified by tropical forests, constant flowing rivers and woodland savannahs.
There are many words used to describe the different sights and varying landscapes of Namibia; immense, eternal, splendid, indescribable, among others, but they really don’t do justice to what Namibia has to offer. Seeing the sunset of Soussusvlei, visiting the Himba in Damaraland or just playing at Swakopmund, you have to experience this great country for yourself.
