Day 1 London – Cape Town
Fly overnight from London to Cape Town with Emirates or South African Airways.
Day 2 Cape Town
Once you arrive you have a FREE car to collect for the duration of your stay. Make your way to your hotel where the rest of your day is for you to relax and unwind after your long flight.
Day 3 - 5 Steenberg
World renowned for its spectacular beauty, superb Cape wines and world class restaurants, the beautiful village of Franschhoek is a definite must-visit destination on any trip to the Western Cape of South Africa. Founded in 1688 by French Huguenots, our scenic gem nestles in a rich and fertile valley, between glorious towering mountains, right in the beautiful Heart of the Cape Winelands.
The hotel offers complimentary transfers within 5km of the hotel and twice daily pick up and drops off into the waterfront
Day 6 Cape Town to Franschhoek
Your 2 days at this amazing farm have come to an end but it is only a short drive to your next accommodation where you will have a completely different experience. The day is at leisure.
Day 7 Franschhoek

Day 8 - 9 Franschhoek to Hermanus
After your 2 days in Franschhoek your next part of your drive will take you to the seaside town of Hermanus, famous for its Humpback Whales. You have 2 nights here to enjoy the stunning scenery, there famous fish and chips and an amazing Whale watching tour (seasonal) which you can pre-book with us!
Day 10 Hermanus to Plettenburg Bay
After a couple of nights in Hermanus you will begin your 3 hour drive to Plettenburg Bay. When you arrive check into your amazing treetop accommodation and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 11 Tsala Treetop Lodge
Like the monumental ruins of an ancient central African civilisation, Tsala’s impressive stone-masonry entrance flanked by water features leads to a magnificent foyer supported by Blackwood columns. The elaborate afro-baroque décor’s earthy colours, rich textures and handcrafted fittings are inspired by the diverse cultures of Africa, with the sophistication of the Western World. The views are breathtaking, whether from the exotic dining room, intimate glassed-in lounge, or large open decks high above the forest floor. Tsala is a magical place, encircled by lush forests extending across rolling valleys, towards the distant hills.
Day 12 Tsala Treetop Lodge to Addo Elephant Park
After your magical experience in Plettenburg you will drive 3 hours east to Addo where you have 3 nights of thrilling game drives, fine wine and exquisite cuisine.
Day 13 – 14 Addo Elephant Park
Now the third largest national park in South Africa, Addo Elephant National Park has expanded to conserve a wide range of biodiversity, landscapes, fauna and flora. Stretching from the semi-arid Karoo area in the north around Darlington Dam, over the rugged Zuurberg Mountains, through the Sundays River Valley and south to the coast between Sundays River mouth and Bushman’s river mouth, Addo covers about 180 000 hectares (444 700 acres) and includes the Bird and St Croix Island groups.
The original elephant section of the park was proclaimed in 1931, when only eleven elephants remained in the area. Today this finely-tuned ecosystem is sanctuary to over 600 elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, spotted hyena, leopard, a variety of antelope and zebra species, as well as the unique Addo flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
Day 15 Port Elizabeth to London
The time has come to leave Addo and drive to Port Elizabeth airport where you will drop off your car and check in for your overnight flight back to London
Day 16 London
Arrive back into the UK after an amazing South African adventure!
