Day 1 - London to Ho Chi Minh City

Fly overnight from the UK to Ho Chi Minh with Vietnam Airlines.

Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh

Arrive in the morning in to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh Airport. Make your own way to your city hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing after your flight from the UK.

Day 3 - 4 - Ho Chi Minh

Day 5 - Ho Chi Minh to Thuan An - Hue

This morning make your way to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh airport to catch your short internal flight to Hue where you’ll then make your own way to your hotel. Once you have checked-in to your hotel the rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Day 6-8 - Thuan An - Hue

Your days at leisure can be spent by simply relaxing on the beach or sunbathing at the hotel’s pool or exploring the many sights of the area. Why not take a sunset boat trip or visit one of the surrounding fishing villages. Visit the nearby areas of Hue or Da Nang or take a city tour. With 7 nights in Thuan An you can take advantage of the fact you have time to chill and relax and also experience the culture of this area of Vietnam.

Day 09 - Hue to Hoi An

Make your own way between the two cities. Once you have checked into your hotel in Hoi An, enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city.

Day 10-13 - Hoi An

Day 14 - Hoi An to Hanoi

This morning make your way to Danang Airport airport to catch your short internal flight to Hanoi where you’ll then

Day 15 - Hanoi

Today is a full day to explore the sights and sounds of Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital city. Visit the legendry Ho Chi Minh Complex, take a stroll around the many museums and learn about Vietnam’s turbulent history, sample the vast array of Vietnamese street food’s that are on offer or even take a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter.

Day 16 - Overnight Halong Bay Junk Tour (included)

Journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta, observe everyday life of the Vietnamese villagers as they work the rice fields, take pigs to market on motorbikes and plough the fields with their water buffaloes.

Check in and transfer to your boat for the overnight journey into Halong Bay. Lunch is served onboard as your cruise into the bay. Cruise by Rock formations with such names as Sail, Dog and Dinh Huong. Towards the end of the day set another anchor for the night as the sun sets followed by dinner.

Day 17 - Halong Bay Cruise to Hanoi

On your return to Halong City, enjoy a full breakfast or brunch as your boat weaves its way back to the dock.

Day 18 - Hanoi

Day 19 - Hanoi to London

There is some more free time today before catching your overnight flight home to London.

Day 20 - Return London
