Day 1 London to Atlanta

Fly direct from London to Atlanta. Once you have arrived pick up your compact car and drive to your first hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at Leisure.

Day 2 Atlanta

Start your morning in the Auburn district early, as the entire neighborhood is packed full of historic treasures, starting with the Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historic Site. Designated a national historic site, these blocks include the Birth Home of Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Ebenezer Baptist Church, where King's father and grandfather were ministers and King served as a copastor. In the area, you'll also find the King Center, where King is buried, and the APEX Museum. This afternoon enjoy the endless attractions, why not Visit the famous Atlanta Zoo. Among the highlights in this world-class zoo are the giant pandas. The happy couple welcomed their second baby in 2008, named Xi Lan, after the traditional 100-day waiting period for naming baby pandas. Cute as she is, though, Xi Lan isn't the only draw; Zuri, the baby giraffe, arrived last summer to a hail of cheers. The 40-acre Zoo Atlanta features some 200 species of animals from around the world.

Day 3 Atlanta to Augusta

After breakfast drive to your next destination, Augusta. Once you have arrived check in to your hotel. This afternoon take a walk into town and enjoy the local cuisine.

Day 4 Augusta to Savannah

Today you will continue your journey to Savannah. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at Leisure.

Day 5 Savannah

Today take a wonder into town. The trolleys you see criss-crossing Savannah's historic streets provide an ideal way to take in the town. Hop a trolley at the Savannah visitor information centre, or, if you're feeling adventurous, try the Segway by Savannah Tour for a unique way to explore the city.

Savannah is home to plenty of one-of-a-kind shops. You must try Byrd Cookie Company for sweet treats (and complimentary samples!) and the boutiques dotting Broughton Street for unique fashion and home furnishings.

Day 6 Savannah to Saint Simons Island

This morning continue your journey to Saint Simmons Island where you will spend 1 night. The rest of the day is to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 7 Saint Simons Island to St Augustine Beach

After your night in Saint Simons you will continue the final part of your journey. Once you arrive in St Augustine you will check into your hotel and enjoy this afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 8 – 9 St Augustine Beach

If you’re in Saint Augustine you’re obviously ready to step into the past. Take the trolley tour and find out about the history, sights and attractions from a well-informed trolley conductor. Check out Saint Augustine’s oldest house; the old jail which is definitely haunted, the Fountain of Youth, Lightner Museum, and the magnificent 17th century fortification, Castillo de San Marcos. Wander through the old colonial Spanish neighbourhoods, and sit in an old-time café and imagine it’s two, three, even four hundred years ago – although the food will be a lot fresher than that.

It’s time to get back into this century with a bit of beach fun. Head out to Anastasia Island for long, sandy beaches: Saint Augustine Beach, Crescent Beach and Matanzas Inlet. Then in the evening, just when you’ve forgotten all about history, meet some of Saint Augustine’s oldest residents on the ghost trolley ride.

Day 10 – St Augustine Beach to London

After your 3 nights on the beach head to Jacksonville airport (approx 45min drive) and drop your car off at the airport (you will have to pay a one way drop off fee of $150 plus tax locally). Once you have dropped the car off check in for your flight home.

Day 11 – London

Arrive back into London after an amazing Holiday.
