Highlights / General details We will begin the tour in the Colonial Zone where as soon as you arrive you can explore a myriad of options for shopping while strolling through streets full of history and tradition. We will visit the Amber Museum, a “must do” stop for the visitor where you can purchase the famed stone and learn more about its process of creation and the different varieties that exist. After this we will go to the Tobacco Factory where we'll then dive into the manual process of making the tobacco and learn about the important Dominican tobacco industry. We will continue our route until we reach the Colonial Market, where you can find various articles, part of the Dominican idiosyncrasy, and practical souvenirs.
