Day by Day

Day 1 London – San Francisco

Fly direct to San Francisco, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in North America. Upon arrival make your own way to your hotel in San Francisco and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 San Francisco

You have a full day to explore this fantastic city, Why not  pre-book with The Internet Traveller a 48 hour hop-on hop-off Bus Tour with Alcatraz admission. This combination package takes you 20 key points of interest all around San Francisco including Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, the famous Painted Ladies and also take a ferry across the bay to visit the most famous sight of all, Alcatraz.

Day 3 San Francisco

The final full day In San Francisco. Continue to explore San Francisco or look to go further afield and visit the stunning Yosemite National Park. San Francisco has so much to offer that you might never want to leave!

Day 4 San Francisco - Sonoma

Check our your hotel and Pick up your car from the Union Square car depot. Your drive to Sonoma Valley will take approximately 1 hour. Appon arrival check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at Leisure.

Day 5 - 6 Sonoma

Start in Healdsburg and learn about all things wine at the Sonoma County Wine Library. Head south to Santa Rosa, Sonoma County's largest city; admire the Shasta daisies and Santa Rosa plums of a renowned horticulturalist at the Luther Burbank Home & Gardens. Continue on to the Sonoma Valley. Visit Jack London State Historic Park and hike the same trails the author and resident strode on the northeast flank of Sonoma Mountain.  Relax, post hike, with a movie at the restored Sebastiani Theatre in downtown Sonoma.  And don't ignore Sonoma's famous cheeses; try the Sonoma Cheese Factory for starters.

Day 7 Sonoma - Sacramento

After your 3 night stay in Sonoma drive the short distance to Sacramento for your next 2 nights. Once you arrive check into your hotel and you have the remainder of the day at Leisure.

Day 8 Sacramento

Visit a farmers market. Sacramento is home to the largest “Certified Farmers Market” in California and has the most ethnically diversified market in terms of produce offerings, growers and customers. Many of the farmers markets operate year-round. Get acquainted with Sacramento and take a Fast Eddie Bike Tour as you check out the urban art in Midtown. Taste some local wines or cruise through the Delta region as you enjoy one of these scenic, educational (and environmentally friendly) rides. Eddie promises not to go too fast. Mix it up at Mulvaney's fine-dining establishment, located in a 1893 firehouse. The restaurant focuses on seasonal and local products when creating its dishes.

Day 9 Sacramento to San Jose

after your stay in Sacramento drive to San Jose for your last 2 nights. Once you have arrive check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at Leisure.

Day 10 San Jose

Explore the Spirit of Silicon Valley through hundreds of hands-on interactive exhibits, an eight story high IMAX theatre, and various virtual-reality gadgetry.

Experience The Hackworth IMAX Dome Theatre, the world’s most powerful and immersive movie experience.

Day 11 San Jose to London

After you have checked out your hotel drive along to Coast back to San Francisco, there will be time to stop somewhere before your flight home.

Day 12 London

Arrive back in the UK after enjoying what was hopefully a fantastic holiday!
