Day 1 London to Perth
Depart the UK for your overnight flight to Perth.
Day 2 Perth
Arrive into Perth and make your own way to the airport. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing after your long flight.
Day 3-5 Perth
Spend your 3 day’s getting to know sunny Perth and discovering what makes it one of the world’s most liveable cities. Hop on an open top double decker bus tour, take in the riverside views of Perth’s skyline along the esplanade or wander through the lanes of chic fashion boutiques and cafes. Head up to Kings Park, one of the largest inner city parks in the world (bigger than New York’s Central Park), to take in one of the best views of the city. Then finish the day with a sundowner at Perth’s coolest beachside enclave, Cottesloe.

Day 6 Perth to Darwin
This morning make your way back to the airport ready for your flight to Darwin. When you have arrived make your way to the airport and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
Day 7-8 Darwin
You have 2 full days’ here to enjoy this fabulous Place and relax before your 6 day self drive. With its great restaurants and coast line you will be sure to find something to do.
Day 9 Darwin to Kakadu National Park
(260km /162 miles /3.5 hours) Collect your 4WD vehicle and travel towards Kakadu, a land of dramatic scenery and prolific wildlife. Kakadu is Australias largest national park, its vast wetlands and escarpments home to diverse bird populations. Hotel: Aurora Kakadu (B) 2 nights.
Day 10 Kakadu National Park
Kakadu National Park This morning, you are booked on a leisurely 90-minute Yellow Waters Cruise that allows you to experience the majesty of this wetlands area and its abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for saltwater crocodiles as they bask on the muddy shores, and admire the floating waterlilies. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore highlights such as the superbly-preserved Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr, the Bowali Visitor Centre and the Nourlangie Rock art site, or to visit beautiful Jim Jim Falls.
Day 11 Kakadu to Katherine
336km /210 miles /4 hours) Call into the Warradjan Cultural Centre for an Aboriginal perspective on the region before heading south out of the park on the Kakadu Highway. At Pine Creek, rejoin the Stuart Highway and continue to Katherine. Hotel: Ibis Styles Katherine (2 nights)
Day 12 Katherine
Katherine is your gateway to Nitmiluk National Park, home to 13 dramatic river gorges sculpted from sandstone by the Katherine River. This morning, you are booked on a two-hour cruise that will take you through two of the most spectacular gorges. Admire the sheer sandstone cliffs, take a swim in the cool, clear waters, and later perhaps even join a canoeing adventure as you paddle your way along through the maze of waterways.
Day 13 Katherine to Darwin
(317km /197 miles /4 hours) Today take the Stuart Highway back to Darwin. Perhaps stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, memorial to the Japanese bombardment of 1942 and at Litchfield National Park to explore the spectacular scenery of monsoonal rainforests and spring-fed streams. Picturesque Florence Falls and the giant magnetic termite mounds are well worth a look, or you may just discover a shady little waterhole perfect for a refreshing dip. Hotel: Travelodge Mirambeena.
Day 14 Darwin
Your tour concludes after check-out today. Return your car by the same time it was picked up on day one to avoid additional charges. Note: During the wet season (Nov-Apr), adverse weather conditions may cause temporary road closures. When you have dropped your car off make your way to the airport for your overnight flight home.
Day 15 London
Arrive back into the UK after a fantastic holiday.
