In Huraa gain insights into the simple life led by the villagers. Then visit a boat building yard and view the process of making Maldivian dry fish. Discover the mangrove swamps and freshwater lake and learn more about this fragile eco-system. At Himmurfushi take lunch at a local restaurant and visit souvenir shops where you may purchase local handicrafts and mementos. We also offer the opportunity to visit the home of a local family. In-between islands we offer the opportunity to snorkel and discover the underwater world. Sites are selected on the day dependent on weather and ocean conditions but you can be assured of encountering a colorful array of marine life. Bikinis are also not allowed to be worn on local island beaches; however all of the guesthouses used on our tours offer either private balconies, gardens or private beach areas for guests and resort visits can be organized, subject to availability, for guests who wish to consume alcohol.
