Day 1 London to Queenstown
Fly overnight from London to Queenstown
Day 2 Queenstown
Arrive into Queenstown, pick up your car from the airport and drive to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3 - 5 Queenstown
You have 2 full days to enjoy this great city! Why not take the helm aboard an authentic America's Cup yacht and explore Lake Wakatipu. Bungee jumping and jet boating are the classic Queenstown adventure activities, but many are the ways to raise adrenaline levels. Skydiving or rafting are amazing ways to take in the view from air or water with little fitness required, while Heli mountain biking, or tramping into the wilderness require a bit more exertion.
Day 6 Queenstown to Te Anau
This morning drive to Lake Te Anau, the journey only takes 2 hours so this gives you plenty of time to settle into your hotel when you arrive
Day 7 Te Anau
You have one full day to enjoy Te Anau. Te Anau is a world away but the activities here are out of this world! Why not try some kayaking and take a visit to the Glow worm caves.
Day 8 Te Anau to Wanaka
This morning you will drive to Wanaka where you will spend 2 nights. This part of the journey takes approximately 3 hours. When you arrive check into your hotel and enjoy the afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 9 Wanaka
Whether you're an angler, boater, cyclist, exercise fanatic, golfer, wannabe helicopter pilot, sun lounger, skiier, tramper, foodie and wine connoisseur or just like to sit and stare at the scenery and people watch... Lake Wanaka has something you’ll like, a number of things you’ll absolutely love, and a huge number of reasons to keep coming back so spend this day doing whatever you want!
Day 10 Wanaka to Mount Cook
Today the drive to Mount Cook takes 2 hours so take this at your own pace. When you arrive into Mount Cook check into your hotel and enjoy the day at leisure.
Day 11 Mount Cook
Get up and personal with the Southern Hemisphere’s highest mountain: Auraki – Mt Cook. Take you hiking boots out for adventurous walks on the endless treks around Mt Cook and soak up the breathtaking scenery.
Day 12 Mount Cook to Lake Tekapo
This morning drive to Lake Tekapo which only takes 1 hour 30 minutes. You only have one night here so if you arrive nice and early you have the whole day here. You can enjoy stunning scenery, uninterrupted views of the Southern Alps, the peace and quiet and views in the Church of the good shepherd and visit the Collie Dog Memorial and have a picnic.
Day 13 Lake Tekapo to Christchurch
Enjoy some breakfast before taking the 4 hour journey to Christchurch. You will be spending 2 nights here before you fly home so when you arrive check into the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 14 Christchurch
Get around and see the sights in style on a hop-on hop-off tram tour, running from the Botanic Gardens to the River Avon. Enjoy the central city highlights; including Cathedral Square, Victoria Square, the floral clock, Christ's College, Arts Center with craft market, and the Bridge of Remembrance. Visit the Big 5 most popular attractions in Christchurch: Antarctica's beautiful icy wilderness has been re-created at the International Antarctic Center, view native kiwis at the Willow bank Wildlife Reserve, ride on a historic Christchurch tram, take a relaxing two-hour harbour cruise, and soar to the summit on the Christchurch Gondola with breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, Canterbury Plains and Banks Peninsula.
Day 15 Christchurch to London
Drop your car back off at the airport before you check-in for your flight home
Day 16 London
Arrive back into the UK after an unforgettable holiday.
