Highlights / General details You will be picked up at your hotel and given a briefing and safety instructions by our guide/driver in reference to driving in open vehicles, specifically in the "wild Curacao" terrain. Your off road adventure starts at the San Pedro heights/HATO planes where you will get a lot of information about the island and it’s nature, including a visit to the famous “Which craft” cave. After enjoying lunch, we will enter the Christoffel National Park, which is a combination of beautiful nature and amazing historical sites from the time of the slave trade and huge slave plantations. We will also drive through an off road area filled with orchids, birds of prey and sometimes even deer. Other highlights of the tour are some amazing views, some of them more than 1000 feet above sea level. This is a MUST DO adventure..... Location We do pick up at all major hotels on the east side of the island. Guests who stay on the western side, or are coming in on a cruise ship need to go to the Marriott hotel at their own expense, and check in at our tour desk at 8:45am. The tours leaves at 9:00am. Driving from the cruise terminal to the Marriott is 5 minutes by taxi. Participant restrictions Participants must be at least 6 years old. Participants should NOT be pregnant. Participants should NOT have any back problems. Policies Minimum 6 Passengers – No maximum passengers. For the Santa Barbara Resort there is a $20 per person pick up fee. Lunch stop does not include lunch itself. Vans are not wheelchair accessible.
