Day 1 London – Hanoi

Fly overnight from the UK to Hanoi with Vietnam Airlines.

Day 2 Hanoi

Arrive in the morning in to Hanoi Airport. Make your own way to your city hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing after your flight from the UK.

Day 3 Hanoi

Today will be spent visiting Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as part of your FREE day trip. You will be picked up from your Hanoi hotel and take the 3 ½ hour road trip to Halong Bay. En-route you’ll stop off at the Hong Ngoc Humanity Center, a handicraft outlet developed to provide support to communities in the area including people with disabilities. On arrival in Halong City, board your private boat for a cruise in Halong Bay, famous for its spectacular limestone karsts jutting out of the peaceful green waters of the bay. The views are spectacular as you cruise amongst the nearly 2000 islands that fill the bay. Your Halong Bay cruise explores some of the grottos or caves that have formed in many of the islands that fill Halong Bay. You also drop in on a fishing village where we learn more about the local culture and customs of the local inhabitants. You can soak up the majestic atmosphere from the top deck to witness the stunning views or relax below in comfortable surroundings. Return to Hanoi by road in the late in the afternoon where you have a chance to reflect on this memorable day.

Day 4 Hanoi

Today is a full day to explore the sights and sounds of Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital city. Visit the legendry Ho Chi Minh Complex, take a stroll around the many museums and learn about Vietnam’s turbulent history, sample the vast array of Vietnamese street food’s that are on offer or even take a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter.

Day 5 Hanoi to Thuan An - Hue

This morning make your way to Hanoi airport to catch your short internal flight to Hue where you’ll then make your own way to your to the 5* Ana Mandara Hotel. Once you have checked-in to your hotel the rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Day 6 – 11 Thuan An - Hue

Your days at leisure can be spent by simply relaxing on the beach or sunbathing at the hotel’s pool or exploring the many sights of the area. Why not take a sunset boat trip or visit one of the surrounding fishing villages. Visit the nearby areas of Hue or Da Nang or take a city tour. With 7 nights in Thuan An you can take advantage of the fact you have time to chill and relax and also experience the culture of this area of Vietnam.

Day 12 Hue to Ho Chi Minh City

This morning make your way to Hue airport to catch your short internal flight to Ho Chi Minh City where you’ll then make your own way to your city hotel. Once you have checked-in to your Ho Chi Minh City hotel the rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Day 13 Ho Chi Minh City

Today can be spent on your FREE Ho Chi Minh Discovery tour (if you've pre-booked your transfers in all 3 destinations). This sightseeing tour includes Cholon and Binh Tay Markets, Thien Hau Temple and Nha Rong Wharf, Chinatown, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post office, Opera house and downtown Saigon. There is an English speaking guide to take you around and you also get lunch included with this tour which will be a local dish. This tour starts at approximately 8.30am and last approximately 8 to 9 hours.

Day 14 Ho Chi Minh City

Today is a full day to explore more of Ho Chi Minh City at your own pace. You could take a trip out to the Mekong Delta to cruise through the canals or visit the many Temples within Ho Chi Minh.

Day 15 Ho Chi Minh City – London

There is some more free time today before catching your overnight flight home to London.

Day 16 London

Arrive back in the UK after enjoying what was hopefully a fantastic holiday!
