Religious belief encourages and nourishes thousands of pilgrims coming from different places on the long walk to Fátima, which makes it one of the biggest pilgrimage destinations in the world. The parish of «Cova de Iria», that in 1917 witnessed three shepherds being blessed by the apparition of the Virgin, is nowadays transformed in a beautiful square with an impressive church, commonly known as «Basilica», the apparitions’ chapel and the Holy Trinity church. You will also have the chance to wonder around the many shops, where you will find all kinds of souvenirs connected to the cult of Our Lady.
After that, among the sound of the guitars and the traditional capes of the students we arrive to Coimbra, where one of the most ancient Universities in the world overlooks the Mondego River, that on its riverbanks saw the development of this town; a town that was once capital of the country.
The narrow streets hide the love stories of the thousands of students that passed by that town. Among aqueducts and gardens, convents and monasteries, Coimbra has more charm when we say goodbye.

Once your holiday itinerary has been agreed we will ask you to pay the relevant deposit, if applicable, or full payment if your holiday is departing within 14 weeks of booking. You will then receive your full confirmation, payment receipt and ATOL certificate via email within 24 hours of booking.
