Day 01: Victoria

On arrival be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Tonight, meet your fellow travellers and Tour Director at a Welcome Reception.

Day 02: Victoria Sightseeing

This morning, visit the Butterfly Gardens and Butchart Gardens, and explore its floral displays. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps take a whalewatching cruise or a horsedrawn carriage tour (own expenese).

Day 03: Victoria, Whistler

Perhaps take a floatplane flight across the stunning Georgia Strait to Whistler (own expenese). Alternatively, drive to Chemainus today, before boarding a ferry across the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. Travel along the Sea to Sky Highway and admire the Coastal Mountains on your way to Whistler.

Day 04: Whistler, Blue River

Depart Whistler and travel through the rugged Cariboo region to Blue River. Arrive and soak in the beauty of the surrounding mountains. Special Stay - an overnight escape at Mike Wiegele Heli Village offers adventure and serenity in a picturesque setting.

Day 05: Blue River, Jasper

This morning, climb aboard a custombuilt boat for a River Safari through Grizzly Bear Valley (weather permitting). Later, follow the famous Yellowhead Highway and pass Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, on your way to Jasper. Like a Local - tonight, feast on a BBQ dinner before being led by a local guide to explore the wilderness and learn about the abundant wildlife.

Day 06: Jasper, Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Louise

Visit the gorgeous Maligne Canyon and walk along its deep rocky caverns. Then, travel along the Icefields Parkway and stop at the Columbia Icefield for an unforgettable Ice Explorer ride onto Athabasca Glacier. Continue to the pictureperfect Lake Louise. Special Stay - settle in to The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and enjoy dinner at your iconic hotel this evening.

Day 07: Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Banff

This morning, visit the tranquil Moraine Lake (weather permitting) on your way to Banff National Park and settle in to your surrounds. A Taste of Banff - tonight, enjoy a beer tasting and a hearty dinner at the Banff Ave Brewing Co., before a tour of the Rockies’ only boutique brewery.

Day 08: Banff Sightseeing

Today, ride the Banff Gondola to enjoy incredible views of the Canadian Rockies, before enjoying the rest of the day at your leisure. Perhaps visit The Fairmont Banff Springs or head off on a Banff Experience to discover the local township (own expense). Ask your Travelmarvel Tour Director for other options.

Day 09: Banff, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and settle in to your RedLeaf carriage, passing the Spiral Tunnels and Kicking Horse Canyon before arriving in Kamloops late this afternoon.

Day 10: Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver

Rejoin the Rocky Mountaineer and continue towards the Pacific Ocean. See Fraser Canyon, the Coast Mountains and Fraser Valley, then arrive in Vancouver late this afternoon.

Day 11: Vancouver Sightseeing

This morning, visit Vancouver’s best loved sights on a guided tour, and see the Waterfront, Gastown, Granville Island and Stanley Park. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Dinner.
