Tour departs from and returns to guest hotel.

Itinerary

You will be picked up at your hotel at an appointed time and transferred to the boat terminal for your trip to Corregidor Island. At the island, you will be met by your guide who will bring you on a tour of the island on board a ‘tranvia’. A rolling tour of the island introduces you to the three geographical sectors of the island: Topside, Middleside and Bottomside, each of which had served its purpose during the war. Brief stops are made at Topside, the core of the island where the parade ground, the ruins of barracks, Cine Corregidor and headquarter are located.

Alight at the Pacific War Memorial which also houses a museum, and climb up the old Spanish lighthouse for panoramic views of the island, Manila Bay, and the surrounding seas. Know more of the defense artillery of the island when you visit the gun emplacements and batteries, and witness some moving moments leading to the fall and surrender of the Filipino and American soldiers in a light and sound show in Malinta Tunnel, a bomb-proof tunnel which served as headquarters of Gen. Douglas MacArthur before fleeing the country.

Participant restrictions

Children 0-2 years of age are free of charge (will be seated as a lapseat).

Children ages 3 to 11 years old must travel with two adults to avail of the child rate; if travelling with only one adult, then the child will be charged the adult rate.

Additional Information

Wear light, comfortable clothing and foot wear, sun screen, and a hat. Bring along a light back pack to put in your water bottle and other essentials.

Cancellation: 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

The tour is operated on private basis.

Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
