A rebellious young girl is sent by her mischievous grandfather on a fantastical quest spanning generations.

Drawing on Mexico’s history and heritage, JOYÀ tells the story of an alchemist and his granddaughter embarking on a transformative quest to uncover the secrets of life. Through their wonderfully disorienting journey they will discover a hidden gem in the mangrove, passing along the poetry of love and life to future generations. The name JOYÀ is rooted in the Spanish “joya” meaning jewel or pearl, and alludes to a person or event of great value. Through the performance, the alchemist’s granddaughter will discover joy and wisdom by sharing an extraordinary experience in an unlikely place. JOYÀ is housed in a 600-seat theater custom-built for Cirque du Soleil, which draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the surrounding Riviera Maya jungle.


The premium dinner service features international gastronomy and the finest beverages –including champagne Mercier, made by one of the world’s most renowned champagne producers in Épernay region of France –incorporated into a theatrical pre-show one hour before the show starts.

Inclusion

Show ONLY/Show ONLY (High Stool): Every seat is a great seat in this intimate theatre setting. Two Options: Show Only with Table Seating or High Stool.


Premium Seats, Drinks and Appetizers: Enjoy the show from central seats, half bottle of champagne and 7 appetizers per person, and 40 minutes of musical pre-show.


Show & Dinner & Champagne: The dinner begins one hour before the curtains open and it is one of the best ways to enjoy the whole JOYÀ experience.


VIP Show & Dinner & Champagne: The best seats in the house, a welcome cocktail, unlimited champagne, 1 hour of musical pre'show, a 3'course gourmet dinner and priority access to the tehater.


**The champagne can be changed for wine, juices or sodas directly with the waiter inside the theatre.

Transportation available with an extra cost, departing from two pick-up points:

Cancun: La Isla Shoping Village.

Playa del Carmen: Playacar Center (Infront of the Royal Hideaway Hotel).

Venue is located at the Cirque du Soleil Theater at Carretera Federal Cancun-Playa del Carmen KM 48, Solidaridad, 77710, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Additional Information

For dinner we offer gourmet dishes with molecular touches. A sample menu consists of the following (we have a vegetarian option):

First course: variety of gourmet starters.

Second course: choice between Braised short-rib, Salmon filet or Vegetarian Specialty.

Third course: variety of gourmet desserts.

The champagne that is served is Mercier from the house Moet & Chandon. JOYÀ is the only place in Mexico where you can drink this champagne.

Valet Parking is available with an extra charge. Free parking is available with no charge.

Free transportation from August 15 to October 31 only if booked between July 19 to August 31.

No children under 3 years of age are allowed in the theater.

Guests must be 18 years or older in order to enjoy packages with alcohol included. ID will be required at entrance.

Dress code is upscale casual.

Policies

Cancellation: Always Nonrefundable.

Guests who arrive late for dinner will only be offered the course being served at the time of their arrival.

Due to theater operation, we are NOT able to accommodate any special dietary requests. We do have vegetarian, vegan and children menus available. Please ask your waiter at the theatre for them.

The use of any recording devices and cameras is strictly prohibited.

Tickets are sold as final sale; no modifications, no refunds or exchanges.

Orders for 12 people or more are considered a group and will be cancelled and must send a request to our groups department to book it.

4. Confirming your holiday

Once your holiday itinerary has been agreed we will ask you to pay the relevant deposit, if applicable, or full payment if your holiday is departing within 14 weeks of booking. You will then receive your full confirmation, payment receipt and ATOL certificate via email within 24 hours of booking.

Even after you have booked and paid for your holiday there are bound to be questions you have before you depart on your holiday. We pride ourselves with the Customer Care that we offer and are always here to assist with any pre or post departure assistance you require.

Low Deposits
