Namberumal Chetty was the architect of this superb building. Often described as Victoria Memorial Hall, this museum occupies an important place in Mughal history. The key factors of this place are its motifs, structure and exclusive gallery collections, belonging to the 11th and 12th century. Each article or object on its display is fantastic. Owing to its large size, the gallery is divided into four different sections that are: Tanjore Painting Gallery, Decorative Art Gallery, Indian Traditional Art Gallery and Ravi Varma Painting Gallery.
