Mauritius is a magical Island is only 30 miles by 40 miles and yet is without a doubt one of the most stunning places in the world to visit. Mauritius is situated in the warm and crystal clear Indian Ocean.

Mauritius is blessed with miles and miles of gorgeous beaches. Most of the island is surrounded by coral reef, and the marine life is fantastic: you can go snorkelling, diving or deep sea fishing, and you’ll most likely see molluscs, turtles, dolphins and hundreds of fish. Wine can be expensive as it is usually imported from South Africa or France, but the local beer called (Phoenix or Blue Marlin) is cheap and the latter is very potent! Because of the local sugar cane production, there are of course a number of locally produced rums.
