Havana
The Cuban Capital is, without a doubt, the tourism destination of excellence of the largest island in the Caribbean (with a population of over two million). Within the city, its historic center (considered by UNESCO World Heritage in 1982) is an obliged reference destination for all visitors who come to this city. For centuries, this city has been considered the key to the Gulf (of Mexico).
Walking on the streets of Old Havana, many of them still cobbled, also represents the opportunity of getting acquainted with more than a dozen museums and studio-galleries of famous Cuban and Latin American artists.
Varadero
Located on the northern most part of the island of Cuba, Varadero Beach runs along the narrow Hicacos Peninsula for 22km (over 13.5 miles). It has a wide strip of fine, white sand that skopes gently into the sea, whose warm, clear waters encompass an incomparable range of blues. You can explore its caves and escarpments, a necklace of virgin key that are easy to get to and the carrefully preserved natural landscape at the north-eastern end of the peninsula. In addition, Cardenas, the nearby city of Matanzas, the Zapata Peninsula and the San Miguel de los Baños Spa offer cultural, historic and natural attractions.
