Located on a secluded and stunning white sand beach, the resort overlooks the turquoise waters of Long Bay, on the north-eastern coast of Antigua. Set on 25 acres of tropical greenery the resort offers absolute seclusion and privacy. The 500 metre white sand beach is ideal for water sports lovers or just sun worshipers and families with young children, which can play all day by the water.


Just 30 minutes away from the airport and St. John’s, Antigua’s capital, Grand Pineapple Beach Antigua is in close proximity to the island’s busy areas but far enough to offer its guests an ideal combination of privacy and activity.


Accommodation
The resort features a selection of 180 colourful rooms which range from cosy to stylish. Customers can choose among Garden View Rooms that feature partial ocean views and private patio or communal veranda: Ocean View Rooms with fabulous ocean views and private patio or balcony: Newly refurbished Beachfront Rooms and Tropical Waterfront Rooms are located right on the beach or near the water.

Beachfront Rooms feature new mahogany front door, painted and re-tilled throughout, new sliding doors, stylish Espresso furniture, new bathroom fittings, environmentally friendly air conditioned and soft furnishings and curtains. Tropical Waterfront Rooms include all of the above PLUS enlarged and remodelled bathrooms. Ocean View and Garden View rooms will be remodelled early 2011.

All rooms feature one king or queen size bed or two double beds and benefit from garden or ocean views. 14 rooms are wheelchair accessible, ideal for physically challenged guests.

Grand Pineapple Beach Antigua features 4 speciality restaurants which suit all preferences. Guests can taste a variety of cuisines without having to travel outside the resort, from International and Italian to Mexican and traditional Caribbean.

The Topaz Restaurant offers Caribbean and International cuisine, served buffet style and à la carte. On Tuesdays the restaurant features a “Taste of Italy” buffet and on Thursdays a “Caribbean” buffet. Reservations are required for dinner.

The Pineapple Grill Restaurant serves Caribbean and Mexican favourites à la carte. The restaurant is only available for dinner 3 evenings a week.

Chef’s Pietro Restaurant offers Italian dishes in an open air setting. The restaurant serves only dinner à la carte 2 evenings a week.

For something different the Outhouse snack bar offers panoramic views and delicious homemade snacks served with panache by the legendary Miss Mary. Customers can leave their mark by getting creative and personalising a sign to immortalise their visit to this one-of-a-kind spot.

There are also 6 bars to choose from so whether customers feel like a quiet drink overlooking the serene waters of the Caribbean or something a bit more lively, there’s something for everyone. All bars and restaurants may not be available at all times, so guests should ask reception for opening days and hours.

In the evening guests can enjoy the resort’s extensive entertainment programme with late night disco dancing and cocktail parties.

Activities

During the day customers can enjoy the white sand beach or occupy themselves with a variety or land and water activities. A daily activities programme by the pool and beach area has been specially designed to entertain everyone and includes:
